Breast Cancer Survival Center Presents Healthy Cooking Class
The Breast Cancer Survival Center (BCSC), the only program in the state of Connecticut exclusively devoted to education and support for survivors and their families, will present a special healthy cooking demonstration just in time for the holidays. The event, “Cook Smart, Eat Smart,” will be held Tuesday, November 28, at 5:30 p.m. in Room 104, West Campus, Norwalk Community College, Norwalk, CT.
Do you know that STRESSED is desserts spelled backwards? Come to this live cooking demonstration and find out how to make stress-free, delicious, healthy desserts for the upcoming holidays.
Using the right tools and a little inspiration, you will learn how to make great-tasting recipes that offer healthy substitutions and choices. Sharon Aks, Independent Consultant with the Pampered Chef and Chef Lisa of Eating Well, LLC will show you how.
After the demonstration, stay and shop for the holidays. Twenty percent of all proceeds from the sale of Pampered Chef products that evening will be donated to The Breast Cancer Survival Center.
The Pampered Chef, founded in 1980 by Doris K. Christopher and now part of the Berkshire Hathaway family of businesses, is the premier direct seller of high quality kitchen tools. At in-home cooking demonstrations, called Cooking Shows, guests see products and recipes in action, learn quick and easy food preparation techniques, and receive tips on how to entertain with style and ease - transforming the simple to the spectacular. The Pampered Chef's mission is to enhance the quality of family life by providing quality kitchen products.
Lisa Corrado, M.S., owner of Eating Well LLC, helps her clients be healthier by eating a healthier diet. She provides customized eating plans, effective tools and supportive coaching to help her clients achieve their goals.
Seating at this cooking demonstration is limited. To reserve your place, call 203-857-7304, or e-mail BCSC at cancersurvival@aol.com.
